Our TEGG solutions
Ultrasound
We use Ultrasound technology, a non-destructive testing (NDT) method, as part of our TEGG service. Ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to create images of internal structures. This service can be used to inspect a wide variety of materials, including metals, plastics, and composites, to detect any issues or faults like cracks, voids, and other defects in materials. Once we’ve used Ultrasound to find issues or faults in a critical system, we can then advise on, and carry out, remedial works.
Thermal Imaging
Our Thermal Imaging service is our TEGG testing method that, using heat, can create images of internal structures. Thermal imaging cameras are used to detect differences in surface temperature, which can then be used to identify areas of concern in a piece of machinery, including:
- Hot spots, which can indicate areas of wear or damage.
- Cold spots, which can indicate areas of insulation failure.
Mains Analysis
Mains analysis is one of our TEGG services used to measure the quality of the electrical power that is being supplied to a facility. Mains analysis can help to identify problems with the voltage, current, and frequency of the power supply, as well as to identify any issues with the harmonics and transients in the power supply. From this, we can then work with customers to decide on a corrective course of action to remedy any of the faults found.
Milli-volt Drop Test
Electrical Repairs
Our Electrical Repair service encompasses all our corrective works that we can use to fix electrical problems found during TEGG testing. This can include the replacement of electrical components, the repair of electrical wiring, and the installation of new electrical equipment, or any other issue found within an electrical system.
