This course will demonstrate how to correctly collect a Vibration measurement from rotating machinery using a Vibration data-collector and then upload the collected data to a database for analysis and reporting.
Candidates will be involved with a mix of theoretical and practical learning to reinforce key learning points. The practical element will involve exploring Emerson’s 2140 data collector and MHM software to understand how to set up routes, change settings and collect reliable data.

Vibration Analysis Awareness Course objectives:
- Understand the basic principles of Condition Monitoring and Vibration Analysis.
- Knowledge of common Vibration patterns and how they are identified.
- Understand how to identify defects such as bearing faults, looseness, resonance, electrical faults, and other issues.
- Be confident in using a Vibration data-collector and know how to correctly take a Vibration measurement.
- The ability to upload collected data to a database.
- Be able to interpret Vibration data for fault diagnosis and correction.
