The first part of the Thermal Imaging Awareness Training Course is classroom based and candidates will explore the basics of Thermography. The second part of the Course aims to place theory into practice by performing live inspections around the plant and involves taking images to identify any common problems that may exist.
The Course content can be adjusted to meet your requirements, focusing specifically on the applications that are relevant to your plant.
Thermal Imaging Awareness Training Course topics include:
- Thermal energy, heat, temperature and infrared energy
- Heat transfer
- Visual focus
- Thermal focus
- Using Thermal imaging cameras
- How to install and use optional lenses
- Uploading and manipulating images
- Practical application
Thermal Imaging Awareness Training Course objectives:
- Be confident handling and operating a Thermal camera.
- Understand the basics of Thermography.
- Be able to take visually and Thermally focused images.
- Can recognise and manage reflections.
- Be familiar with the different applications of Thermal imaging.
- Knows how to install and use optional lenses.
- Confident in compiling and interpreting Thermography reports.
