ASME is a leading professional organisation focused on technical, education, and research issues in the engineering and technology community. A globally recognised and trusted source of standards used around the world, they work alongside a huge number of partners to ensure a consistently high level of quality in the industry’s operations. What’s particularly special about BES is that we were the first agency to become accredited with them some years ago, which truly is a testament to our forward thinking!
This accreditation means we can carry out specialist inspection services, including:
- Section I – Rules for Construction of Power Boilers
- Section III (Div 1&3) – Rules for Construction of Nuclear Facility Components
- Section IV – Rules for Construction of Heating Boilers
- Section VIII (Div 1,2 &3) – Rules for Construction of Pressure Vessels
- Section X – Fiber-Reinforced Plastic Pressure Vessels
- Section XII – Rules for Construction and Continued Service of Transport Tanks
Our customers are required to employ an authorized inspection agency to be able to perform inspections on products to be stamped with the ASME mark and applicable designator. Our ASME-authorized inspection agency team includes boiler/pressure vessel and nuclear inspectors and supervisors who make sure our customer’s pressure equipment is safe and compliant with the ASME standard, demonstrating our commitment to maintaining the highest working practices. With better quality control comes improved efficiency for our customers.
We’re extremely proud of our accreditations making us a global player in the industry, meaning we can help keep even more people safe with our inspection, testing, and certification procedures.
This means that whatever your inspection needs, we’ve got them covered. Based in the UK, our Authorized Inspectors and Authorized Inspector Supervisors are highly trained across a range of disciplines, so that we can provide rigorous, reliable inspections, on all forms of pressure equipment.
