Delighted to be welcoming John Walsh to our team

We’ve really set the benchmark high with our people across the British Engineering Services Group and we’re delighted to share that we’ll be welcoming a new face to our Sales and Customer Relationship team in the coming weeks.

John Walsh will be joining our company at the start of August as Head of Indirect Sales. After more than 15 years working in a number of senior roles across the insurance industry and with many brokers across the UK, he is extremely excited to be joining our fantastic business.

John spent more than 10 years at RSA where he successfully led the regional speciality lines business. He helped drive a focus on building broker relationships and launching new eTrading initiatives, which continue to be a priority for our company. Following his time with RSA, he moved to Swinton Insurance and, most recently, Unum where he held key leadership roles.

It’s a thrilling opportunity to join a business that is famous for the service it provides to its customers and has a great platform for further growth due to the transformation that has taken place over the last 5 years,” commented John.

John will take the reins from Warren Bainbridge, who, after more than four years with The British Engineering Services Group, will be leaving to pursue other opportunities. He will lead our Indirect Team as we continue to support our broker partners, past, present and future. We wish Warren all the best in his next move and look forward to welcoming John to the team.
