Last year also saw us take a huge step forward on the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) front. Thanks to the brilliant efforts of our team, we donated to more than 30 charities and community initiatives. Our contributions were made in support of the fundraising and community activity being completed by many of our people and we were delighted to help them really make a difference to some truly worthy causes.
Mind, The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity, Prostate Cancer UK, Cancer Research UK, Alzheimer’s Society and Bliss for Babies Born Premature or Sick, are just a few of the charities we are proud to have supported so far because of our wonderful team.
We were also pleased to complete more than 500 volunteering hours across the Group. From spending several days supporting The Bread and Butter Thing in Trafford Park, to taking part in the Tesco Banbury annual foodbank collection, and a whole lot in between, we were delighted to do our bit throughout 2023.
We ended the year on a high with hundreds and hundreds of much needed items collected across our offices for delivery to local foodbanks to help keep their supplies well stocked ahead of Christmas.
