Our accredited Vibration Analysis qualifications are made up of two courses: Category One and Category Two. With our category one course, you’ll be introduced to the theory and technology of Vibration Analysis. Whereas, with our Category Two course, you’ll learn in more depth how to design and analyse Vibration systems and data. So, if you’re new to the subject or want to enhance your knowledge, read more about how our training could be perfect for you!
Vibration Analysis Category One
Our Vibration Analysis Category One qualification will provide you with a thorough basic understanding of Vibration Monitoring as a whole, covering the technology you need to use to carry out Vibration Monitoring, as well as what you’ll be able to achieve by using it. You’ll also be taught the fundamentals to make sure you have a strong foundation for the theories and technology you’ll learn about during the course. Not just this, our industry-experienced lecturers will educate you on how to collect good quality data in the correct way to help you find the right results.
A BINDT certification exam can be taken immediately after successful completion of the course, but the certification can only be awarded after you have logged 6 months of relevant Vibration Analysis experience.
Category One Course Topics
- Principles of Vibration
- Data Acquisition
- Signal Processing
- Condition Monitoring
- Fault Analysis
- Corrective Action
- Equipment Knowledge
- Acceptance Testing
Vibration Analysis Category Two
Moving up a level, designed to be undertaken after completion of the Category One training or for suitably experienced personnel, our Vibration Analysis Category Two qualification covers the basics you’ll learn during the Category One course but goes into further detail about how to design the systems that collect the vibration data, as well as the decisions you’ll make surrounding analysis. Throughout the course, you’ll learn the information you need to setup and manage a vibration database and become confident in looking at the data you capture, analysing it and making the decision as to what the correct course of action should be.
A BINDT certification exam can be taken after successful completion of the course, but the certification can only be awarded after you have logged 18 months of relevant Vibration Analysis experience.
Category Two Course Topics
- Principles of Vibration
- Data Acquisition
- Signal Processing
- Condition Monitoring
- Fault Analysis
- Corrective Action
- Equipment Knowledge
- Acceptance Testing
- Equipment Testing and Diagnostics
- Reference Standards
- Reporting and Documentation
- Fault Severity Determination
The Benefits
So, how will a Vibration Analysis qualification benefit you? With either of our category one or two qualifications, you will:
- Gain a Thorough Understanding of Vibration Analysis: There’s a whole host of benefits that come with undertaking a Vibration Analysis qualification with us, but the most obvious one is that you’ll gain a thorough introduction to Vibration Analysis as a whole! Our Category One qualification provides a strong foundation for the topic, which you can then strengthen and build upon with our Category Two course.
- Get on the First Rung of the CBM Ladder: If you currently work in a role where maintenance and reliability is part of your job, or you want to make the move into a career in this area, having a Vibration Analysis qualification under your belt could be the first rung on the career ladder in a niche industry market.
- Receive An All-Round Learning Experience: Not only will you learn the theory, but you’ll take part in hours of practice to make sure you leave the course with a thorough understanding of, and experience in, Vibration Analysis. You will undergo a series of formative assessments throughout the duration of either of the courses, including two internal summative assessments in the form of a practical and written examination at the end of the course.
- Secure a Qualification That Lasts Five Years: Our Vibration Analysis course last for five years, which means you can focus on entering the workforce instead of worrying about having to renew your qualification!
- You Could Achieve a BINDT Accredited Qualification: British Engineering Service Asset Reliability Ltd are proud to be an Approved Training Organisation registered by BINDT, which means we can provide a PCN certificate exam for you to take after you achieve your Vibration Analysis category one or two qualifications. By taking the time to achieve your PCN, you’ll gain an internationally recognised qualification, which not only will help to enhance your career prospects but provide you with a certificate of competence.
